Obituary Aida M. Melo, 80, formerly of Narragansett Blvd, Providence, passed away Sunday morning, May 3, 2020 at the West Shore Health Center. She was the wife of the late Manuel Soares Melo. Born Oct. 8, 1939, in Santa Maria, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel M. Carvalho and the late Rosa Augusta Moura. She worked many years at Imperial Pearl Company. She leaves her 2 children, Zelia Cabral of Warwick, and Sebasiao Melo and his wife Natividade of Warwick; 5 grandchildren, Melinda, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Melanie, Brendan; and 10 great grandchildren, Sebastian, Juliana, Benjamin, Aiden, Annabelle, Julian, Olivia, Aubrey, Jacob, Ezra. Her funeral will be private with burial at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be invited to a Memorial Mass in the future at Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
