William M. Golden, age 77, of Lewes, DE peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at the Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford, DE. He was born on March 6, 1942 in South Amboy, NJ, son of the late William and Mary Golden. Mr. Golden worked for many years as the union president of Shell Oil Company, from which he retired. He married Judy (Dolce) Golden on September 30, 1994, in New Jersey. They retired to Lewes where Mr. Golden enjoyed boating, hunting, but most of all fishing in his spare time. In addition to his parents, Mr. Golden was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Cummings and his brother, Paul Golden. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Judy Golden; two sons: William Golden and his wife Tina of New Port Richey, FL and Michael Golden and his wife Linny of Union, MO; two step-sons: Phil Brooks and Jeff Brooks and his wife Christine; eight grandchildren: Vanessa, Michael, Jax, Jacqleen, Jager, Lindsey, Zach, and Nick; two step-grandchildren: Justin and Jason; two brothers: Dennis and Robert (Bobby) Golden; and one sister, Helen Golden. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM, at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, DE 19958, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM.
