Willard Wilson Kreimeier April 09, 1936 – February 07, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Willard Wilson Kreimeier, 83, of McAlester, died Friday, February 7, 2020 in McAlester. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Kenny Springer. Burial will follow in Arpelar Cemetery in Arpelar. Will was born on April 9, 1936 to Theodore and Geneva E. (Knabel) Kreimeier in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He owned and operated Will and Lil’s Catering and food truck company in California, retiring in 1978. After retirement, he settled in McAlester, and enjoyed working on his 160-acre farm raising cows. Will once owned a 1000-pound sow named Gertrude. He enjoyed trying to countrify his family from the city, and they could never imagine what they were in for at the farm. He enjoyed being with his family, and they would go stay at the family cabin on weekends. He also enjoyed relaxing at home. Will enjoyed hunting, and had been a member of a hunting club in Arkansas. He was a member of a Ham Radio Club in California, and had volunteered for the American Red Cross. He was preceded in death by his parents: Theodore and Geneva Kreimeier; brothers: Hugo G. Kreimeier, Bruce R. Kreimeier; and a sister: June Weigel. Will is survived by daughters: Gina Lightle and husband, Donnie, Linda Sue Hopkins; grandchildren: Kristina Atherton and husband, James, Kesree Goodner and husband, Paul, Kyra McDaniel; great-grandchildren: Courtney Billy, Makenzie Billy, Joshua Harrington, Jackson Goodner, Madden Goodner, Carter McDaniel, Brooklyn McDaniel; and great-great-grandchildren: Presley Billy and Chandler Billy; and other family members and friends.
