WILLA MAE WILLMAN (nee Gravatt) of St. Louis, Missouri and longtime resident of Ferguson, Missouri was born March 26, 1930 in Japan, Missouri to Alonzo and Willameta (nee Gosejacob) Gravatt and died Friday, February 21, 2020 at the age of 89 years 10 months and 25 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Willameta Gravatt, her granddaughter, Stephanie Willman, and five (5) siblings, Alfred Gravatt, Alberta Marshall, Mary Davis, Harold Gravatt and Ted Gravatt. Willa is survived by her husband, Elburn “Gus” Willman, Sr. of St. Louis, Missouri, three (3) children, Greg (wife, Debra) Willman of Union, Missouri; Iris (nee Willman) Colyer of St. Louis, Missouri; and Elburn “El” (wife, Connie) Willman, Jr. of St. James, Missouri, five (5) grandchildren, Gary (Debbie) Willman, Tina Willman (Brian) Bacott, Jennifer Willman (Rich) Metz, Jacqui (Chris Ferrell) Colyer and Rich (Marayia) Willman, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, her loving cat, “Lucy” and other relatives and friends. Willa was a caregiver for her family and many pets, and loved spending time with all of them. She enjoyed making stained glass and writing poems and was a wonderful baker. Willa appreciated her family history, loved spending time at the family cabin and also researched genealogy and ancestry at local cemeteries. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Please gather and connect with the family of Willa Willman as they reflect and celebrate her life during a Visitation, Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 12:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 10301 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122.
