Obituary WESLEY LEE HIGGINBOTHAM, age 55 of Lawley, passed away suddenly on February 23, 2020 in Clanton, AL. He was born on October 30, 1964; the son of the late Jimmy Wayne Higginbotham and Myrna Louise Frith Smitherman. He was a former pressure treatment operator with Cahaba Timber Company. He is survived by: Daughter, Candis (Adam) Pate of Clanton; Granddaughters: Alyssa Pate, Adalyn Pate, and Avery Pate of Clanton; Mother, Myrna Smitherman of Lawley; and Brother, Jim Higginbotham of Lawley. He is preceded in death by his Father, Jimmy Higginbotham. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1:00pm from the Medline Baptist Church in Perry County, AL with Rev. Steve Frith officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will follow in the Medline Baptist Cemetery in Perry County, AL. The family request in lieu of flowers, please donate to the family to go towards final expenses.
