Krabichler April 11, 1934 – February 14, 2020 Share this obituary View/Sign Guestbook Walter A., age 85, of Palm Coast, Florida, and Ft Lauderdale, Florida, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on February 14, 2020. He was born in Munich, Germany in 1934 the son of Simon and Elisabeth Krabichler. He moved to the United States in 1954. He worked for the Veteran’s Administration, Montrose, NY, for 27 years as a Maintenance General Foreman. Walter was a very active member of the Elks in Peekskill, NY Lodge #744 being the Exalted Ruler in 1985 -1986 and was re-elected again in 1991-1992. He was also an associate member of Palm Coast, FL Lodge #2709 and was active in the Elks for over 44 years. Aside from being an Elk he was a member of the Secor Sports Club in Mahopac, NY, and an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast, FL and St. Pius X Catholic Church in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Walter is survived by his wife, Eleanor; daughter, Jeanette Wolf and her husband, Edward Wolf; two grandchildren, Shana and Max Wolf; five brothers, Roman Krabichler, Georg Krabichler, Horst Krabichler, Adolf Krabichler, and Manfred Krabichler; two sisters, Anneliese Povoden and Marianne Erner; all who reside in Germany; several nieces and nephews; other family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Simon and Elisabeth; and a brother Hermann Krabichler. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February, 19 at 2:00 pm in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL with his visitation Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations, 39 Old Kings Road North, Palm Coast, FL 32137 and at 1:00 PM at the church.
