Valery E. Lipps, 71, of New Carlisle passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 in his home. He was born March 3, 1948 in Ben Hur, Virginia to the late Ralph and Valerie Lipps. Valery was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran. He retired from Hickam AFB Hawaii in 1992. He loved riding his motorcycle. Was very proud of Patrick and the grandchildren of their accomplishments . Valery is survived by his wife, Joan Zakar Lipps, a son Patrick Lipps of Tipp City, two sisters, Tina and Treva, two grandchildren; Amaya and Ava, numerous nieces’ nephews and friends. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in Adkins Funeral Home with military honors by U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.
