Thomas Manning White, Sr. Thomas “Tom” Manning White, Sr., 84, died February 10, 2020 in Vero Beach, Florida. Mr. White was born in Blakely, Georgia and moved to Fort Pierce in 1966. Prior to retirement, Tom was a contractor and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. His family meant everything to him, his happiest times were when he was surrounded by his family. Tom loved to travel; he had been all over the United States, hitting most states in one trip. He also loved watching college football, especially watching his team the Georgia Bulldogs and he loved his home and piddling in his workshop. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Bea White of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Tommy (Lee Ann) White of Fort Drum, FL and Gary (Lisa) White of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Karen Krueger of Fort Pierce, FL, Lori (Danny) Williams of Fort Pierce, FL, and Ronny (Candi) White of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Betty Bridges of Bainbridge, GA; brother, Ronnie White of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Doug, Justin, Amanda, Roxie, Heather, Becky, Vanessa, Caleb, Darby, Luke, Kobe, Kolton, Kuper, Kappy, Danielle, Troy, and Travis; and 17 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org Services: A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 5:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
