Obituary of Sylvia Murl Markham Mrs. Sylvia Murl Markham, age 91 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, February 24, 2020, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Markham will be conducted on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Mutter officiating. Interment will follow in Griers Chapel Cemetery, in Dyer. She was born November 25, 1928 in Dyer, TN; the daughter of the late Charles & Mary Elizabeth Williams Depriest. She retired from the Brown Shoe Company as a factory worker and was a member of Griers Chapel Methodist Church. She is survived by daughter, Marilyn Oliver (Damon); two brothers, Tom Depriest, Don Depriest; two grandchildren, Jeff Oliver, Mark Oliver; three great grandchildren, Nichole Oliver, Lexi Oliver, and Bailey Oliver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Ed Markham, and her parents. The family will receive friends from 11:30am – 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
