Suzanne Louise Dotson, 67, passed away February 6, 2020 in Manassas, Virginia. She was born June 25, 1952 in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. Suzanne lived for her family and precious grand babies. She loved the Lord and worshiped at Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church. She was a voice of encouragement to those who were struggling. She will be remembered for her words of wisdom, like “Chocolate is a vegetable, so eat dessert first” and “perfection is overrated.” Her life was a testimony to God’s mercy, grace and goodness. Suzanne was survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jeffery Dotson, three children, and eight grandchildren. Her son, Travis Dotson and wife Georgia live in Manassas, Virginia along with their children Brittney and Melody. Her daughter Jennifer Tonkin and husband William live in Midland, Virginiaq along with their children Hannah and Thomas. And her daughter Sarah Taylor and husband Steven live in Manassas Park, Virginia along with their children Jacob, Luke, Grace and Zachary. A visitation for family and friends will be held February 11, 2020 from 5-8pm at Yorkshire Free Will Baptist Church, Manassas, VA. Funeral services are scheduled at Yorkshire Free Will Baptist Church on February 12, 2020 at 11am with Rev. William Tonkin officiating. Graveside service will be held following the funeral at Stonewall Memorial Gardens with Rev. Todd Tennant officiating.
