Stephen Michael McAuley October 10, 1940 – February 15, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Stephen Michael McAuley, age 79, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cassville. He was born October 10, 1940 in Oakland, California, the son of James Richards and Dorothy McAuley, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his daughter, Stephanie. Surviving are two sons, Eric Buchs of Lancaster, California and Chris Buchs of Rancho Cucamonga, California and two grandchildren, Kelsey McAuley and Eddie Marcano. Stephen grew up and received his education in California, graduating from Antelope Valley High School. For many years he worked for Boeing in California as a mechanic. In 1998, he moved to Missouri to make his home. Some of his favorite pastimes were going to car shows and collecting old cans. One of his favorite things to do was hiding behind things to scare people. He was an avid animal lover and loved his grandchildren. No services are scheduled. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
