Pinto, age 84, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2020. Steve was an avid ham radio operator and enjoyed spending time at the local shooting range. He grew up in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia and graduated from North Catholic High School in 1953. He went on to complete a degree in business at LaSalle College. He married Anne, his high school sweetheart, in 1957, and moved to Morrell Park in Northeast Philadelphia where they lived for 58 years. Steve is survived by his wife, Anne (née Bowne); his sons, Stephen W. and Bryan; his daughters Jo Ann Cerula and Michelle Marino; his sons-in-law Michael Cerula and Jon Marino; his daughter-in-law Carmen Pinto; his grandchildren Christine Holt, Jeannette Cerula, Michelle Solimine, Bianca Pinto, Quinn, and Willa Marino, and Orlando Rodriguez; his great-grandchildren Eric Jr., Gillian, Gemma, and Victoria Holt. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering on Thursday, February 20, 2020, from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at Christ the King Church, 3252 Chesterfield Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114. Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Steve’s memory may be made to the above-named church.
