Shelbia J. “Sue” Daily Powell 58, of Bonita Springs, FL died unexpectedly on Friday, February 7, 2020 at her residence. She was born February 9, 1961 in Connersville, IN a daughter of the late Junior Issaac and Barbara Jean (Hammond) Hatch. Sue had been a lifelong resident of Connersville before moving to Bonita Springs 32 years ago. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant working in nursing homes in Connersville and after moving to Bonita Springs she was a personal caretaker and a residential cleaner. Sue also worked at Estero High School for over 20 years in the custodial department. Sue had a passion for animals especially dogs. Every dog in her neighborhood knew where they could get a treat. She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Jean Daily and her fiancé, Martin Junior Quiros, of Naples, FL and Samantha E. Lozada and her husband, Felix Manuel Lozada, Jr. of Estero, FL; her son, Gabe Moushref of Ft. Myers, FL and 2 beloved grandchildren, Olivia Jean “Pebbles” Lozada and Peyton “Bam-Bam” Daily Quiros; her brother, Rodney Hatch and three sisters, Kelly Carter, Donna Bates and Anita “Boo” Powell. She was preceded in death by her parents; her soulmate, John O. Daily and her brother, Shelby Powell. The family will receive friends at a memorial visitation on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home 28300 So. Tamiami Tr., Bonita Springs, FL followed by a Celebration of Life service for Sue at 2:30 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jack Strom of Ocean Church, officiating.
