Obituary Shawn “BUDDA” Michael Maloney, 26, of Lexington, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, father, and friend, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Budda was born in Springville, NY on January 27, 1994. He attended Oglethorpe County High School and was employed by Allied Paving in Pendergrass. Budda was preceded in death by his dad, Donald “DJ” Maloney and grandmother Barbara Maloney. He is survived by his mother Tara Maloney (Joey Etheridge) of Winder, his sisters, Samantha (Danny) Archer of Crawford, Steffanie Maloney (Doug Patrick) of Lexington; his children Harley and Cherrish Maloney of Lexington, his nephews Bentley, Tre’, and Dante’; his grandparents Judy (Larry) Cleveland of Lexington, Michael (Debra) Komenda of Springville NY, Don Maloney Sr. of Ohio and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 1, at the American Legion, 106 Comer Rd., Lexington from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. All family, friends, and acquaintances are welcome to attend. Anyone that would like to bring food or drinks would be appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations made me made for Budda’s kids (Cherrish and Harley).
