Loving father of Alexis (Tomasz “Tony”) Antosz. Cherished son of Earl and Susan Newling. Fond brother of Todd (Kim) Newling, Jamie (Amy) Newling, Rebecca (Geoffrey) Paul. Uncle of many. Scott was a lifelong Villa Park resident, at the age of 13 he received a kidney transplant at Children’s Memorial now Lurie Children’s Hospital. He worked as a local Allstate agent for over 25 years. He loved working out, traveling, gardening, mowing and putzing around the house. He was an avid Bears and Cubs fan. He especially enjoyed family get togethers and holiday gatherings He lived life in the moment with optimism and a twinkle in his eye. Memorial visitation of Saturday Feb 29, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a 4:00 p.m. memorial service at Steuerle Funeral Home 350 S. Ardmore Ave, Villa Park, IL Interment private.
