Sarah Jo “Jodie” Cooley, 72, of Anderson, passed away on February 22, 2020 at her home. She was born on January 15, 1948 in Sparta, Tennessee. Sarah Jo “Jodie” attended Anderson High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Meadowbrook Church of Christ. Sarah Jo “Jodie” is survived by her loving spouse of 35+ years, Roy Cooley; sons, Brian (Tracy) Cooley, Craig Cooley; grandchildren, Briana (Jordan) White, Donovan Cooley, Amanda Cooley, Kaitlyn Cooley; great-grandson, Jacob White, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Addie Rice; siblings Barbara Ann Fraizer, Norma Jean Gardner, Clayton Eugene Rice, Charlie Rice, William Lowry “Larry” Rice. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson, IN followed by a service at 5:00pm officiated Don Harsh. The family will also receive friends on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 1:00pm- 3:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home, 120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583 followed by a service at 3pm. Burial will take place in Highland Cemetery, Sparta, TN. Memorial contributions may be made to Loose Funeral Homes. www.loosecares.com.
