Rose Marie Raeber, 94 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away on February 5, 2020. She was born June 1, 1925, in East St. Louis, IL, daughter of the late Edward and Marie, nee Brengard, Hankamer. She was married to the late Harold A. Raeber. They were married June 21, 1947, in Dupo, IL. He had passed away July 19, 1973. Rose had retired as a payroll clerk with the St. Louis Symphony. Surviving are her two daughters, Janel (Charles) Demick of Columbia, IL, and Teresa Pearson of Dupo, IL; two grandchildren, Brian (Chelle) Demick of Maryville, IL, Sarah (Robert) Niemietz of St. Louis, MO; four great-grandchildren, Bailey Demick, Sadie Demick, Lila Niemietz, and Nadia Niemietz, along with other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. There will be no public services.
