Obituary Rogelia E. Romero passed away peacefully on February 15, 2020 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury CT. Rogelia was born on June 23, 1942 in Santa Rosa de Lima, El Salvador to the late Isabel (Castro) and Pedro Sorto Huezo. Rogelia was a strong and independent woman with an unwavering faith in God. She was known for being incredibly kind, giving, and would help anyone in need. She took pride in her home and taking care of her family. Rogelia will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. She is survived by her four children; daughter Zoila Benavides (Juan), son Jose F. Colon, son Efren D. Romero, and son Moises Romero. As well as her two brothers, two sisters, nine grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Friday February 21, 2020 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St, Danbury CT 06810) from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday February 22, 2020 at Wooster Cemetery (20 Ellsworth Ave, Danbury CT 06810) at 11 a.m. To light a candle or leave a condolence in her memory, please visit www.DanburyMemorial.com To send flowers to Rogelia’s family, please visit our floral section.
