Rodolfo “Rudy”‘s Obituary Rodolfo “Rudy” Henrique Reynosa, 83, of Poth, Texas, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020. Rudy was born Sept. 9, 1936, in San Antonio to Antonio and Antonia Centeno Reynosa. Rudy moved to Milwaukee when he was 13 years old. It was there that he met a beautiful, blond-eyed Polish woman named Norlene. Together they had three children, Barbara, Daniel, and D.J. After working for 45 years for the Falk Corporation, Rudy moved back to Texas in 2006. Upon returning, Rudy found his way to Poth, where he purchased a plot of land, and, as he would say, “plopped down” and settled into his forever home. He found great joy residing in Poth. Rudy was a member of the Wilson County Historical Society, and enjoyed brushing up on his family’s genealogy. It was that love of history that led him to discover his family’s lineage to the original Canary Islanders. He was preceded in death by his parents; his longtime companion, Wanda Lawson; and his siblings, Lucita Reynosa, Emilio Reynosa, and Tomas Reynosa. Rudy is survived by his children, Barbara Kurman (Enrique), Daniel T. Reynosa, and Donald J. “D.J.” Reynosa (Lori); his former wife, Norlene Reynosa; his siblings, Alfonso Reynosa, Teodoro “Ted” Reynosa, and Guadalupe “Lupe” Craig; grandchildren Elizabeth Peterson (Dustin), Rudy Jaskulski, Alex Reynosa, Anthony “Tony” Reynosa, Tiffany Wright (U.S. Navy), and Scott Wright; two great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives; and many friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to caregivers and family members Beatrice Fraga, Sheila Schauer, and Mary Jane Mata for their compassion and care of Rudy. Although he lived in Texas, Rudy’s heart and loyalty belonged to the Green Bay Packers. He was also an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers. Read More
