Obituary Rodney Rose, age 67, of Hammond, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife: Karen Rose (nee Laughlin); children: Rodney (Amanda) Miller, Jacqueline (Douglas) Koon; Step-Children: Jennifer Osborn and Angela ( Robert) Steffens; Grandchildren: Aiden and Parker Miller, Bentley and Dallas Koon, Zoey, Zachary, and Zaylee Brozak, Cody and Dylan Steffans; Sister: Diane (Joe) Blandford. Preceded in death by his Parents: Melvin and Mary Rose; and Brother: Kevin Rose. Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, February 21, 2020 at Castle Hill Funeral Home (1219 Sheffield Ave – Dyer IN) from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a Memorial Service and Celebration of Life. Rodney proudly served in the United States Marines. He enjoyed cruising on his Harley and was the best handy man, who could fix anything. He will be missed by his loving companion and faithful dog; Bud Light and by many friends. Rodney was a tough S.O.B. , with a BIG HEART!
