Obituary Centralia resident Richard Dale Thompson, age 87, passed away at Providence Centralia Hospital on January 31, 2020. He was born on March 2, 1932 to Clifford and Annabell (Kitchen) in Centralia Washington. Richard worked as a mechanic for a bowling alley. On August 23, 1971, he married Sarah Peters (Mixon) at the Thurston County Courthouse in Olympia. He was a loving father and followed all of his son’s basketball games.
