Obituary KIRWIN, RICHARD A., 64, of Merino Street, Johnston, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Woodpecker Hill Nursing Home in Coventry. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Walter and Elvira (Ruggiero) Kirwin. Richard was employed as a jewelry caster in the RI jewelry manufacturing industry his whole life. He loved Rock & Roll music and was a lifelong fan of the New England Patriots. He loved a good party and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was the father of Amanda L. Kirwin and her significant other Mike Atwell of Griswold, CT, Tessa M. Aubin and her significant other Rodney Burton of Johnston, and Richard A. Aubin of Shirley, MA. He was the proud grandfather of Jace V. Aubin. Richard was the brother of Donald, Patricia, Donna, and the late Debora, Robert, Walter, Lorraine, and Beatrice. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews. Visiting hours will be Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm with a Memorial Service at 4 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry.
