Ray’s Obituary Ray Larance, 88, of Amarillo died Wednesday February 5, 2020. Service will be Monday 2:00 Pm at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel officiated by Glen Walker. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Ray was born October 11, 1931 in Rhome Tx, To Mary and Wesley Larance. Ray was A God loving Christian husband, father, and grandfather. He was a very patient, kind hearted, genuine person who would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. He was known as “Papaw” to his children, grandchildren and the neighborhood kids. He was always teaching the kids to fix their bikes, and later on vehicles. Ray was a stubborn man. After his health started declining, he was still out working on his old truck. Ray just enjoyed tinkering on things. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ronnie Larance, and 9 brothers and sisters. Ray is survived by his wife, Doris Larance, one son, W.R. Larance and his wife Cindy, his daughter, Lowella Ann felty and her husband Mike, his daughter in-law, Chandra Larance, four grandsons; Jackie, Johnny, Michael, and Jimmy, three granddaughters; Amber, Destiny, and Jennifer, two brothers, Roy larance and his wife Jeanne, and Ricky larance.
