Phillip C. Stinemates, age 96, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 at Park Vista – Legacy in Waupaca. He was born in Waupaca, WI on April 28, 1923, a son of the late Charles and Grace (Voysey) Stinemates. He married Arlene (Jones) Smith in July of 1972 in Waukesha, WI. She preceded him in death on October 26, 2003. Philip was a veteran of W. W. II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He had been a member of the Freemasons. Survivors include his Nephew: Phillip (Karen) Bodenheimer, Waupaca, WI; Niece: Nancy (Kevin) Schroeder, Waupaca, WI; Step-Son: Rick (Lisa) Smith, Folsum, LA; Step Daughter: Cheryl Curik, Manchester, MO. He is further survived by Sandy Bodenheimer, Judy Bodenheimer and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife – Arlene, sister – Evelyn Bodenheimer, nephews – William Bodenheimer and Thomas Bodenheimer. Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020, with Brenda Hewitt, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 12 (Noon) until the time of the service at the funeral home.
