Obituary Perry Kenneth Burton was the son of Cyrus Burton, Sr. and Vergie Guye Burton. He was a member of Elon First Baptist Church where he served as an usher and worked with the Maintenance Department of Elon University. He loved fishing and working on cars, Pick-3’s, Cooking his famous Perry Dogs and Perry Burgers. He was a family man who loved socializing and was an all-around people person. He leaves loving and lasting memories to his two sons: Jarrell Mack and Mario Strayhorn; a grandson: Gabriel Mack; five siblings: Loraine Burton Patrick (Robert), Cyrus Burton, Jr. (Ella), Larry Burton, Steve Burton (Lynnetta) and Ethylene “Effie” Burton; his companion: Lois Miles as well as several nieces and nephews.
