Obituary Peggy Jeanette (“PJ”) Prout, 67, of Farragut, TN went home to be with Jesus on February 12, 2020. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She was tiny but mighty. Full of personality. Strong in spirit and faith. PJ was a fighter. She fought the good fight to the very end and she is now resting in the presence of her Lord. PJ retired from a long career she enjoyed at Whirlpool Corporation. She greatly enjoyed her quality time with her dear girlfriends – in good times and bad they were always there for each other and PJ never took those friendships for granted. She is known for her sacrificial love for those around her. She lovingly laid down her life in service to her family. PJ and Frank had a love for travel to beautiful beaches and warm sunshine. We know she is in the ultimate paradise today basking in the light and love of Jesus. PJ is survived by her devoted husband, Dr. Franklin Prout; three children Rich (Donna) Howard, Rachel (Mark) Spear, and Ryan (Hope) Prout; and 14 grandchildren she absolutely adored. She is also survived by her mother, Mildred Sisson, and her loving sisters, in-laws, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life is being planned for this summer and details will be shared with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
