She loved to travel with her daughter and Antonio Montez. Her favorite places were Mt. Hood, Multnomah Falls in Oregon, and the National Shrine of Devine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. She also traveled to New York City, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Tennessee, Washington State, and Louisiana. Acknowledgements to her nephews who were like her sons who deeply cared for her and made sure she had everything she needed: Robert Martinez (Rebecca), Bruce Martinez (Veronica), and William Martinez (Susie). Acknowledgements to the people who cared for her from time to time when she was ill: Mercedes Garcia (niece), Diana Garcia (great niece), Andrea Sotello (niece) and Susie Ramirez (family friend).
