Obituary Norma J. Greiser, 85, of Davenport died on Friday, February 21, 2020 at St. Mary’s, Davenport. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Norma was born on July 5, 1934 in Nelson, Nebraska, the daughter of Charlie and Fern (Kent) Seefeld. In September of 1973, she married Thomas Guthrie. Norma worked for many years as a dietary technician at Good Samaritan in Davenport. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Those left to honor her memory are her sons, Chuck (Missy) Bozarth, Debra Barrington, Cheri Mills, all of Buffalo, Iowa, Michael (Connie) Bozarth of Jacksonville, Florida; 8 grandchildren, Jeremy, Evan, Elizabeth, Chris, Stephanie, Catalina, Trisha, Brooke; 4 great-grandchildren, Nathan, Jillian, Alice, Nash; sister, Lila Mertens of Nelson, Nebraska; brother, Joe Seefeld of Omaha, Nebraska; and brother-in-law, Barney Guthrie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Thomas; a grandson, Eric; and several brothers and sisters. To send flowers to Norma’s family, please visit our floral section.
