Obituary Nancy Davis (nee Fiocca) Nancy Fiocca Davis, 88. Passed away peacefully Sunday morning, February 23, 2020. Beloved wife to the late B. Neil Davis, loving daughter to the late Lucia “Mama” Fiocca and the late Geno Fiocca. Dear sister to the late Joan Fiocca Patzer, loving cousin to Thomas Fiocca (Diana), Alena Fiocca, Robert Fiocca, and Eugene Fiocca; beloved aunt to Roland “Chip” Patzer (Meredith), Sophia Patzer, Caroline “Cari” Patzer, Nancy Patzer, Dennis Williams (Sandy), Jason Williams (Mariah), Stacy Young, Brian Williams and Stephen Williams (Nikki). Nancy was a godmother and friend to many. She had the soul of an artist and appreciated beauty and style. Forever a diva, Nancy loved to entertain, and was the perfect hostess alongside her husband Neil as host. Her lifelong pleasure was reading, and she dearly loved the dogs that she and Neil kept throughout their life. She is preceded in death by her Miniature Schnauzer “Puccini.” Nancy was a longtime resident of Lakewood and resided at EnnisCourt Assisted Living in Lakewood at the time of her death. Nancy’s family is ever grateful for the loving care given to her by all at EnnisCourt, as well as by her dear friend Maureen Garrity. A native of Kent, Ohio, Nancy graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent and earned her bachelors and masters teaching degrees at Kent State University. Specializing in elementary school art and special education, Nancy taught for over 25 years. Nancy and Neil enjoyed 60 years of marriage. Both were actively involved in church, musical and theater groups. Nancy was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Lakewood. Both belonged to The Hermit Club of Cleveland, performing in musicals and stage shows throughout northeast Ohio and beyond. Nancy sang with the West Shore Chorale and the Robert Page Festival Singers, and she recited “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” each holiday season. Nancy had a sparkling personality and a zest for life that was contagious. She will be remembered with great love by family, friends and colleagues. Her charm, style and wit brought joy to those around her. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 29 at 11:00 am at St. Luke Church, 1212 Bunts Road in Lakewood. Visitation will also be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am to Mass time. Private interment at a later date at Standing Rock Cemetery, Kent, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to EnnisCourt Chapel Fund, St. Luke Church, the B. Neil Davis Music Scholarship Fund at Lakewood High School or the B.
