Mrs. Betty Lee Parker, age 72, of Arab, passed away on February 6, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Parker was born on August 26, 1947 in Cullman County to the late Orvelee Cason & Mildred Lorene White Cason. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, traveling and watching old westerns. Betty loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Pan Creek Missionary Baptist Church and attended God’s Way Ministries. Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband of 45 years, James William Parker; son, Jason Parker; daughter, LeAnn Parker; grandchildren, Jordan Pannell, Trenton Rainwater; brothers, Ricky Cason (Marie), Ronnie Cason (Carol); sisters, Patsy Bozeman, Judy Fuller (Ralph), Carla Brakefield (Phillip); host of nieces and nephews. In additions to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her sisters, Melba Whitman, Annette Cason; granddaughter, Kylie Brooke Parker. Pallbearers will include; Trenton Rainwater, Chris Cason, Phillip Brakefield, David Whitman, DeWayne Fuller & LaMar Fuller. Funeral services for Mrs. Parker will at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Arab Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Kenneth Putnam officiating. The family will accept friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the funeral home, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
