Obituary Michael Willard Summers, 62, passed away at the home of his son on Thursday, February 26, 2020. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Roy Wilson and Robena Hall Summers. Michael was employed as a building and mechanical inspector for the City of Greensboro and a member of Bethlehem Christian Church. He loved to cook and to go fishing at the beach. He was a great father, brother, uncle and a friend and will be dearly missed by all who know and loved him. Survivors include his son, Adam Summers and wife Amanda of Gibsonville; sister, Vickie Gordon and husband Delbert of Greensboro; brother, Leon Summers of Mebane and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm Sunday at Bethlehem Christian Church by Rev. Todd Feckle, pastor. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory from 5-7p.m. Saturday and at other time the home of Adam and Amanda Summers, 104 Cypress Ct., Gibsonville.
