Obituary Michael Thomas Gallegos, age 78, passed away February 24, 2020 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born August 15, 1941 to George Gallegos and Chonita Arellanes. He served four years in the United States Marines, where he received a good conduct medal. He married Alice Jaramillo and they had four sons, Kenny, Scotty, Mitchell and Jerod. He was self employed as an auto mechanic. He loved all mechanics, going for wood in the mountains, hunting, fishing, and was an awesome story teller. He loved telling stories of his childhood in Texas, but mostly loved telling about going to the mountains, hunting, fishing and wood hauling. He loved telling jokes and was the life of the party. He had the biggest grin. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice Gallegos; brother, Gilbert Gallegos; and sister, Diana Hamm. He is survived by his children, Kenneth Gallegos, Scotty (Jessica) Gallegos, Mitchell Gallegos, Jerod Gallegos; grandchildren, Hannah, Jakob, Matthew and Luna; and his sister Vionela Gallegos. Services will be March 7, 2020, 12:00 PM, Santo Toribio Church in Ponderosa, NM. Reception to follow at Ponderosa Community Center.
