Obituary Michael E. “Mike” Wood, age 53, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Huntington. He previously worked at LKQ, was an avid fisherman and a Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan. Mike loved his family and was a loyal friend. Mike was born January 25, 1967, at Ramey Air Force Base, Puerto Rico, a son of Wallace E. Wood and Donna (Ferrell) Raver. His mother survives in Andrews. Also surviving are a brother David (Tammy) Williams of Huntington, 3 step-brothers Greg Raver of Indiana, Tim (Melissa) Raver of Arizona, Kevin Raver of Georgia, nephew Justin (Heather) Williams of San Antonio, TX, great niece & nephew Emma & Grayson Williams, uncle Paul “Kel” Ferrell, and aunt Mary “Robin” (Bob) Rowe. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents Donald “DP” and Mary “Kitty” Ferrell. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 13 from 1-3 pm at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Andrews Chapel preceding the 3:00 pm graveside service in Riverside Cemetery, Andrews. Preferred memorials are to Helping Paws or Huntington Humane Society, c/o Deal-Rice Funeral Home, 233 North Main St., Andrews, IN 46702.
