Obituary Michael C. Shaffer, age 14, of Rostraver Twp., passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. He was a ninth-grade student at Belle Vernon Area School District and a member of the Christian Center Church in Rostraver Twp. He loved music, playing the piano and percussion. He enjoyed computers and even built one of his own. He also loved animals, skateboarding and BMX. Born July 7, 2005 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Michael A. and Heather L. (Kyle) Shaffer of Rostraver Twp. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Tyler Brinkman of Rostraver Twp.; maternal grandparents, Jeff and Jeennie Nickolls of Elizabeth and Howard and Candy Kyle of Warren, OH; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Pat Shaffer of Camden, TN; maternal great-grandmother, Bulah Kyle of Dorset, OH; paternal great-grandfather, Andy McGahan of Camden, TN; aunts and uncles, Tara (Ryan) Lynn of North Huntingdon, Kristie (Brad) Rogers of Camden, TN, Susie (Matt) Fry of Camden, TN, and Becky Ingram of Camden, TN; also survived by cousins. A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 Noon in the Christian Center Church, 130 Charity Lane, Belle Vernon, PA 15012 with Pastor Tim Burgan officiating.
