Melinda A. Douglas, 65, of Evansville, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus. Melinda was born June 8, 1954 in Fulton, KY to the late Otis and Marion (Armbruster) LeCornu. She worked in the accounting department of American General Finance for many years before retiring in 2012. Surviving Melinda are a son and his wife, Gideon and Kadek Douglas of Evansville; one brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Melody LeCornu of Paducah, KY and three grandsons, Jaya Douglas, Kian Douglas and Lance Douglas. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Westside Christian Church, 1200 N. Red Bank Road, Evansville, IN 47720, where there will be a service celebrating Melinda’s life at 3:00 PM. Pastor Dave Whitmore will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Another Chance for Animals, P.O. Box 4336, Evansville, IN 47724 or to Catalyst Church Food Pantry, 3240 Claremont Ave, Evansville, IN 47720.
