Obituary ALEXANDRIA-Melanie Ann Gibson, age 65, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 22, 2020 due to an extended illness. She was born on January 30, 1955 at Naval Station Navy Base, in Norfolk, Virginia, to Roy and Carolyn (Dolenski) Wood. She found her only true love and soulmate, Duane, at age of 20, in August of 1975. They married on October 17, 1975. She loved him and he loved her for a wonderful 44 years.
