Mary C. Hoogenboom, 87, Goshen, died 9:05 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020 at Waterford Crossing. She was born Aug. 24, 1932 in Goshen, to Ralph & Beatrice (Stouder) Yoder. On Sept. 16, 1950, she married Albert A. Hoogenboom and he died Jan. 21, 2019. Surviving are 4 children, Mike Hoogenboom, Denver, Colorado, Lori Weigert, Warwick, Rhode Island, John (Donna) Hoogenboom, Goshen, Tim (Laura) Hoogenboom, Goshen, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Albert and a sister, Lois Moynihan. Mary worked in HR at HomeCrest Corp. and was a member of the Church of God, Goshen. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and other crafts. Most important was spending time with her family and friends. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2020 at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Burial will be 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020 at Union Center Cemetery. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be directed the Alzheimer’s Association.
