Obituary On Friday, February 14, 2020, Mary “Alice” Kelly, aged 86 of Grand Rapids, Michigan went to be with the Lord and her loving husband Bud who preceded her in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary; Sister, Rosie; brother, Tom. She is survived by her loving children, Chris Kelly, Lisa Kelly, Jim Kelly; granddaughter, Megan Kelly; 2 sisters, Delores Bour, Nancy (Steve) Solomon; brother, Edward (Bobbi) Sobczak; several nieces, nephews and cousins and her work family at South Side Storage. Alice was an avid golfer, loved the beach, boating and going to the casino. She loved to watch the Detroit Tigers and was a life long fan. She was a founding member of St. Mary Magdalen serving as organist. There will be a funeral mass for Alice, Friday, April 17, 2020 at11:00 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1253 52nd St SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service and a luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of West Michigan, or pay it forward to someone in need.
