Martina’s Obituary Martina R. Moreno, 72, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 in her home in Dalhart, Texas. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Dalhart, Texas and burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Martina Moreno was born Wednesday, April 9, 1947 to Jose and Isabel Rodriguez in Weslaco, Texas. She was raised in Dimmitt, Texas until she met Louis Moreno. They were married January 1, 1964 and were married for 49 years. In her spare time she loved to crochet, watch soap operas, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, singing church and Christmas songs, drawing, cooking, sitting outside on her front porch, talking on the phone with family, shopping, traveling, decorating her house and going garage saleing with her niece Cheetah (Margaret). Martina is leaving behind her son Lee Richard Moreno of Amarillo, TX and daughter, Libby Melissa Chavez of Dalhart, TX, her grandchildren; Rickey Dion Davis of Tyler, TX, Racquel D’Shann Davis of Vista, CA, Delfino and Dina Avila of Belton, TX, Marco Antonio and Dacia Moreno of Killeen, TX, Selina Adrianna Moreno of Dalhart, TX, Keisha Nohely and Christian Wesley Bloemker of Dalhart, TX and Xochil Isabel Moreno of Dalhart, TX, her great-grandchildren; Trinity Davis, Jonathan Simeon Jr., Andres Luciano Avila and Chris Adonis Bloemker, her siblings; Frank and Lydia Rodriguez of Sunray, TX, Maurilio and Florencia Rodriguez of Hereford, TX, Janie Moreno of Dalhart, TX, Guadalupe Rodriguez of Dalhart, TX and Margaret and Francisco Hernandez of Albuquerque, NM. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Rodriguez (1985), mother Isabel Rodriguez (1994), husband, Louis Moreno (2013), son Louis Peter Moreno (1985), Lydia Marie Davis (2006), brother, Jose Angel Rodriguez (2007), Estella Leyva (2011) and Carmen Ruiz (2007).
