Obituary A Graveside funeral service for John Marion Creech, 79, of Hilda, SC will be held at eleven a.m., Friday, February 14, 2020 in the Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverends Harry Warren and Patricia Dangerfield officiating. The family will receive friends from five to seven p.m., Thursday, February 13th at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Memorial contributions may be given in Marion’s memory to Camp Woodie, Colton Williams Trust, 9833 Old River Rd., Pinewood, SC 29125 or visit www.campwoodie@scwa.org. Marion passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Born in Barnwell County, SC, he was a son of the late Wilbur Eddie Creech and Leira Grubbs Creech. He was a self-employed farmer who was a loving husband, father, and Pop Pop. He was a great outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years Martha Ray Creech; a daughter Donna (David) Drawdy of Hampton; sons John Marion (Caroline) Creech, Jr. of Columbia, Wilbur Bradford “Brad” Creech (Renee Johnson) of Aiken; grandchildren Kelly Youmans, Mary-Walter Creech, John Marion “Trey” Creech, III; great granddaughter Alexis; along with a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Juanita Mills and a brother Jerry Creech.
