Marilyn Jean Brown, age 84, of Cookeville, passed away Monday morning February 3, 2020 at her home. Memorial services will be held at a late date. Ms. Brown was born March 13, 1935 in Parke County, IN to the late Theodore Emil McCalment Sr. and Mildred Lucille McCarty McCalment. She was retired from Nipsco Gas in Plymouth, IN. She is survived by two daughters, Jane Piercy of Cookeville; and Debra Sue Emantel of Crawfordsville, IN; son, Phillip Brown of Crawfordsville; brother, Stephen Dale McCalment of Crawfordsville; and eight grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Brunnett; and brother, Theodore Emil McCalment Jr. Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
