Marie Schuck, age 95, of Sibley, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Crossroads Care Center in Worthington, Minnesota. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Sibley. Rev. Terry Simm officiating. Burial to follow at Holman Township Cemetery in Sibley. Visitation will be Friday, February 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with the family present at the Andringa Funeral Home in Sibley. Marie Schuck was born on September 8, 1924 in Olivia, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Andrew and Alice (Baarda) Ypma. She lived her youth in Sibley, Iowa where she attended school and graduated from Sibley High School. She was united in marriage to Albert Schuck, Jr. of Sibley on May 23, 1947 in Sibley. They lived in rural Sibley where they farmed until 1980 when they moved to town. They enjoyed gardening, going out to eat and for ice cream, yearly Spencer Fair trips and just being together. Albert passed away on April 28, 1993. Marie cleaned for several ladies in Sibley. She worked for many years at the Sibley Veterinary Clinic. Marie was a very helpful woman doing what she could for others. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sibley. She passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Crossroads Care Center in Worthington, Minnesota. Those left to cherish her memories are two sons and three daughters-in-law, Glenn and Janice Schuck, Duane and Kathy Schuck, and Sherrie Schuck; three grandchildren, Justin (Calynn) Schuck, Nathan Schuck and special friend, Brittin Fauskee, Laura Schuck and special friend, Logan Peckenpaugh; two great-grandchildren, Lillian Schuck and Xander Schuck; two brothers-in-law, Marvin Schuck and Darvin Schuck; one sister-in-law, Ivadene Rodgers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Schuck, Jr.; one son, Dean Schuck; her parents and three brothers, Ben Ypma, Garret Greenfield and Everett Ypma.
