Margaret’s Obituary Margaret Avis (Witt) Rejician entered into life on July 30, 1941, in Sutherland, NE to Doyle & Alyce (Lund) Witt. Margaret entered into her eternal life on February 21, 2020, in Texarkana, AR at the age of 78. Margaret grew up in Chadron, NE and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Chadron State College in NE. She lived in Morenci, AZ, Albuquerque, NM & Colorado Springs, CO, just to name a few places. Margaret was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was an avid reader, loved to play golf, was a master at scrabble, told corny jokes and stories that made her grandchildren giggle and she loved to volunteer at her church. Her family loving nicknamed her “crazy cat lady.” She loved her two kitties, Marvin & Macy. She never met a stranger. One of the last things she enjoyed was being taken to a Foreigner concert in Shreveport, LA a week before her death. Her advice to all of her family and friends, “when you get her age the only regrets you have are the things you never tried.” She was a firecracker & bright light and the world was left a little darker now that she is gone to her heavenly home. Margaret is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Johnna & Matthew Conatser of Texarkana, TX. Two granddaughters & their husbands, Jordyn & Jerome Duenas of Texarkana, TX & Cache & Jacob Knox of Ardmore, OK. Three great-grandchildren, Ace & Britton Duenas and Kyler Knox. A sister and brother-in-law Sharon & Bryan Bourne of Security, CO & a brother and sister-in-law DeWayne & Sharon Witt. Also, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle & Alyce Witt, two sisters, Mary Louise Witt & Faye Allgood, as well as a brother-in-law, Robert Allgood. A memorial service will be held at Williams Memorial Methodist Church in Texarkana, TX on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at 2 pm. Read More
