“MAMA”‘s Obituary Patricia Thannisch “Hudson”Gonzalez, known as “MAMA” to her family, was born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 31, 1945 ( three months premature) to Tom Thannisch and Elizabeth Davis Thannisch. She went home to be with the Lord early Saturday morning on the 1st of February 2020. Patricia went to Arlington State College for two years. She married Gerry Gonzalez on arch 12, 1964 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father: Lester Thomas Thannisch, beloved mother: Elizabeth Hudson Leggett, beloved step-father: Marion Brown Hudson. beloved step-father: Harold E. Leggett, and brother: Marion Hudson, Jr. Survivors are: her husband: Gerardo Gonzalez, daughter and son in law: Diane E. and Scott David Eller, son and daughter in law: Gerard S. and Stacey Gonzalez, daughter and son in law: Angela George Hensley, granddaughter: Lauren Chambers, granddaughter and husband: Britney and Adam Bazaldua, grandson and wife: Gabriel and Jill Gonzalez, grandson and wife: Austin Corey and Stephanie Chambers, grandson: Grayson Scott Gonzalez, granddaughter and husband: Ava and George Hensley, great grandchildren: Elissa Diane McMillian, Celise Marie Bazaldua, Adrie Ann McMillian, Scarlett Cecille Chambers, Gibson Scott Gonzalez, and Luke Austin Chambers, brothers and sisters: Lester Thomas “Terry” Hudson and his wife: Jeanne, Florence Hudson Goff, Florence Hudson Jarrell, Doris and Stan Booth and Bill and Barbara Leggett. Patricia is now singing and dancing with the angels, praising our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a happy day, a day of celebration for a life well lived and full of love. She has been active in her church for many years. This has always been a source of joy and happiness for her. There will be a visitation and sharing with the family from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at West/Hurtt Funeral Home in DeSoto. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Ovilla Church of the Nazarene 315 W. Ovilla Rd,, Ovilla, TX 76065 with Rev. Chip Lee and Pastor Ron Adams, officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Ovilla, Texas. A reception will follow the interment back at Ovilla Church of the Nazarene. Read More
