Linda S. Maudlin, 66, of Grandview Lake, went to her heavenly home at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 after a long illness with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease. Linda was born August 19, 1953, in Johnson County, Indiana, the daughter of Marvin and Virginia Smith Weber. On June 23, 1984, she married J. David Maudlin. She attended Center Grove High School and graduated in 1971. Mrs. Maudlin eventually retired from Northwest Mutual Insurance after many years of service. She was a member of the Grandview Garden Club and Murat Shrine RV Club. In her younger years, Linda was a member of The Rainbow Girls. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, David; son, Craig (Rebecca) Moore of Carmel; step-sons, Mark (Gary) Maudlin of Indianapolis, Dan (Jennifer) Maudlin of Noblesville; step-daughter, Julia Richardson, also of Indianapolis; brothers, Jerry (Debra) Weber of Nineveh, Kenny Weber of Franklin and sister, Joyce Weber of Florida. She leaves behind grandchildren, Brendan, Jordyn, Hayden; step-grandchildren, David, Jana, Nicholas (Stephanie), Jessica (Travis) Miller, Katelyn, Elissa, Larry, Sophia and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and sister-in-law, Janet (Vern) Collier. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ron Weber. The funeral will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with Pastor Daryl Gressel officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Claysville Cemetery in Campbellsburg, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
