Leah Rae (McAdoo) O’Rourke, 83, of Wellsville died November 18th, 2019 at Calcutta Health Care in Calcutta, Ohio following a lengthy illness. Leah was born in Wellsville, OH on May 13th, 1936 a daughter of the late Oliver McAdoo and Margaret (Clink) McAdoo. She graduated from Wellsville High School, class of 1954. She worked as a cashier at East Elementary for 31 years. Leah was also a member of Grace Presbyterian church. Leah is survived by her husband James A. O’Rourke whom she married July 25th, 1955; a daughter: Peggy Shoaff (Jim Lewis) of New Springfield; a granddaughter: Megan (Tom) Beagle, five great grandchildren: Tyler Fisher (Hannah Haustman), Philip Beagle, Shayne Smith, Randi Beagle, and Perry (Jackie) Beagle; and seven great-great grandchildren: Sylis, Seliece, Annie, David, Caroline, John, and Josephine. Leah was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth McAdoo, William McAdoo, and her sisters; Doris McDevitt, Maxxine Davis, and Eva Kidder. Services will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home in Calcutta, Ohio on Friday, November 22nd, 2019 at 2pm with Mr. Tom Gaultier officiating. Family will be present to receive friends at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home in Calcutta, Ohio on Friday, November 22nd 2019 from 12pm-2pm. Burial will take place in the United Presbyterian Cemetery of Calcutta.
