Obituary Mr. William “Larry” Kidwell, age 72 of Lexington, husband of Jewell, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Baptist Health Lexington, KY. Larry was born May 13, 1947, in Berea, KY to the late Willie and Maggie (Martin) Kidwell. He married Jewell McClure on June 15, 1968 and from that union came two children: Lori and Andrew. He was a member of North View Baptist Church in Lexington, enjoyed fishing, U K Basketball, youth baseball, and his grandchildren. He was a member of the Lake Ellerslie Fishing Club. Those left to celebrate his life are his wife of 52 years: Jewell Kidwell; two children: Lori Kidwell (Cory House) of Lexington, KY, Andrew (Melanie) Kidwell of Nicholasville, KY; two grandchildren: Brandt Kidwell, Blaire Kidwell; two sisters: Juanita (Charlie) Norris of Brodhead, KY, Eva (Paul) Vaughn of Lawrenceburg, KY, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation for Larry will be Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 10:30am-1:00pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral services will also be Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Terry Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be sent to North View Baptist Church in Lexington and/or Brodhead Baptist Church in Brodhead.
