The son of Rean Wilson Brooks and Wilma Dean (Freeman) Brooks, he was born February 24, 1951 in Blanchard, Oklahoma. He graduated from Blanchard High School in 1969 and was Baptist in faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and farming. Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, that he loved like his own. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Darla Jeanine Brooks; one brother, Jerry Brooks; two nephews, Lance Brooks and Jason Cable; and one niece, Elizabeth Ann Dyer. Larry is survived by one brother, Rean Paul Brooks of Blanchard; two sisters, Karen Finley and her husband, Jack, of Blanchard and Glenda Fore and her husband, Keith, of Blanchard; two nieces; four nephews; and many other loved ones and friends. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
