Obituary Kenneth H. Englert, 91, passed away Sunday February 16, 2020 at the Autumn Woods Health Campus. He was born in Floyds Knobs, IN. and was a retired Post Master for the U.S. Postal Service in New Albany. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Club, the VFW Post, the American Legion Post, the Salvation Army and he formerly attended Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a Veteran of both the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents: Cecelia and George Englert Sr., a great-granddaughter: Emma Downey, his brother: George Englert Jr., his sister: Dorothy Zeller, and a daughter-in-law: Carla Dee Englert. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Debbie Hedrick(Tony), 2 Sons: Mark Englert(Brenda) and Gregg Englert(Lynn Wyatt), 7 Grandchildren: Jennifer, Christina, Tara, Joshua, Matthew, Ethan and Erica, 13 Great Grandchildren and the mother of his children: Rozella Taylor Englert. A Celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held at 11 AM Thursday February 20, 2020 at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes(1119 E. Market St.) with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 9 – 11 AM Thursday before the service.
