Kenneth Grotte November 24, 1938 – January 31, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Kenneth Myrl Grotte, 81, passed away at his home on January 31, 2020.Born Kenneth Myrl Anderson, in Northwood, ND, on November 24, 1938 to Mabel and Kermit Anderson (His father died in August of 1938 prior to Ken’s birth). Ken grew up in Northwood as the son of Mabel and Ralph Grotte. He graduated in 1956 from NHS and was an athlete, participating in all sports. He attended Mayville State College followed by enlistment in the Navy and the Naval Reserve. He served at the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Most of Ken’s adult life was spent in Reno and Fernley, NV. Ken’s surviving family are: Steven Grotte and Julie Lippert (Grotte) both of Fernley.
